What is “Hard Refreshing” Your Browser?
Put simply, a “Hard Refresh” forces your browser to load the most recent version of a page.
In order to save on page load times, your browser saves copies of web pages you visit to your local machine so that when you visit the page again it loads faster. Unfortunately, sometimes the browser doesn’t notice the web page has changed and incorrectly serves you an older version of the page. This can cause recent changes to appear missing!
If this happens, we can force the browser to load the most recent version of the page through a shortcut key combination that depends on your browser.
